This weeks video clip features Sparta, New Jersey’s Jim Miller vs. Bart Palaszewski. The fight took place on April 4, 2008 in East Rutherford, NJ for the International Fight League promotion. Jim Miller represented Renzo Gracies NY/NJ Pitbulls, and Bart Palaszewski represented Pat Miletich’s Quad City Silverbacks. Enjoy!

Jim Miller will be fighting this saturday at UFC 100 against Ultimate Fighter Season 6 Winner Mac Danzig. This is sure to be a great fight, and as always NJ mma fans will be rooting on our hometown boy from Sparta, NJ.

New Breed Fighters has put together another night of action packed amateur MMA. NBF XXIII will be taking place at the Resorts Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday June 11, 2009.

They are boasting an 18 bout fight card, featuring some great up and coming talent from some of the best teams in NJ and the surrounding area: Modern Martial Arts, Mike Massenzio’s Iron Horse MMA, Team Edson Carvalho, Alex Wilkie’s Warriors, Philadelphia’s Fight Factory, ACMMA, and Bellmore Kickboxing just to name a few.

Two fighters to watch out for on this card are Pat Sabatini and Phil Doig. Sabatini is racking up wins with a 4-1 record right now, and in addition to this fight he has already signed on to fight on Reality Fighting’s “Battle at the Beach” on August 1st.

As for Phil, all of his wins have come by way of submission, and he’s only lost 2 fights and they were both by decision to really good opponents, including current NBF Middleweight Champ Ryan Vaccaro (a fight he took on short notice). If you look him up on Youtube.com you’ll see a clip of him pulling off a nasty judo throw from one of his NAGA matches.
